Search visibility
Indexing
Also known as: indexed, crawl, crawling
Understanding the term
Being indexed and ranking well are different things. A page can be fully indexed and still appear in hundredth position. Indexing is the entry requirement, not the result.
A page may be excluded for good reasons, such as a thank-you page after a form submission, or bad ones, such as a noindex tag left in place after launch.
