Website maintenance: what monthly support covers

Hosting, updates, backups and fixes: a service separate from the build.

Building a website and maintaining it technically meet two different needs. The first pays for its design and development. The second supports its operation once it is live. At Klymax, maintenance and managed hosting are a separate service: your quote specifies which services you choose.

What Klymax maintenance includes

The service costs €150 excluding VAT per month. It covers four areas: hosting, updates, backups and fixes. The scope is defined for your website so you know what falls under routine support and what counts as a new request.

  • Hosting to keep your website accessible online.
  • Updates to the relevant technical components.
  • Backups to retain a copy of the website and its data.
  • Fixes covered by the agreed support scope.

New website features are a separate matter

Adding a customer area, a new booking flow or a connection to a business tool involves development. These requests are different from technical fixes. We scope them with you to agree the cost and delivery time before work begins.

Content changes also need to be defined within the agreed scope. Maintenance should not be presented as a promise of unlimited changes or new features automatically included.

Visibility, reviews and advertising are separate services

Maintenance does not replace the work of making your business known. SEO and AI visibility have their own service. The business website + visibility package includes local SEO, review collection, professional visuals, a detailed monthly report and priority support.

Google Ads campaigns are separate too. Their fees cover setup, monthly management and a performance component. Advertising spend is paid directly to Google. The Pricing page breaks these items down to distinguish them from technical website support.

What to agree before starting

  • Which website and technical components are in scope?
  • Which updates, backups and fixes are included?
  • How do you submit a request and track its progress?
  • Which changes will need an additional quote?

You can start with a website build and choose the additional services suited to your business. Browse our catalogue, then tell us what you need: the quote confirms the deliverables and support you select.
