It specifies the users involved, data handled, access permissions, stages and connections to existing tools. This description makes it possible to price the work and check the delivery.

A feature should be describable through an observable result. ‘Manage customers’ remains broad; ‘find a customer’s deals and their next action’ already gives a clearer picture of the expected behaviour.

The quote distinguishes what is included in the first version, what is planned for later and what still needs investigation. A new integration or data migration can change the scope even if it adds few visible elements to the screen.
