Search engines cross-check this information across the website, Google Business Profile, directories and social media. Every match strengthens trust; every discrepancy weakens it.
Discrepancies are almost always unintentional: an old phone number left somewhere, ‘avenue’ written as ‘ave.’ elsewhere, or a second business listing created by mistake and never removed.
