Design and experience
UI
Also known as: user interface
Understanding the term
UI and UX are not synonyms. UI is appearance and interaction; UX is the experience that results. A beautiful UI can deliver a poor UX.
What makes a UI professional is not originality but consistency: the same spacing, corner radii and sizes repeated throughout.
