Understanding the term
It tells you what visitors do once they arrive. Search Console tells you how they arrived. The two complement each other, and neither replaces the other.
With its default configuration, an analytics tool measures nothing useful. The events you define, such as a phone call, submitted form or quote request, are what make the data actionable.
