Understanding the term

To measure it, keep the answer, link, question and product used. Distinguish a link to the company’s website from a link to a third party discussing it. An answer can name a brand without linking to its website.

A citation indicates an observable presence in that context. It does not prove a commercial recommendation, a visit or a sale. Those stages are tracked with different observations and data.

In a report, state the number of answers that could be analysed and the dates of the observations. A single screenshot illustrates an example; it does not describe every possible answer.
