Search visibility
llms.txt
What it means, how it is used and what to know for your project
Understanding the term
It introduces the business and links to its reference pages. It complements the website’s content without replacing its sitemap, robots.txt file or internal links. At Klymax, it is one of the GEO deliverables and stays consistent with the published information.
Google Search says it ignores this file for visibility and ranking, including in its AI features. Its presence does not guarantee that an assistant will read it or cite the website. Its usefulness depends on the tool using it.
