Money and contracts
Maintenance
Also known as: managed services, application maintenance
Understanding the term
A website is not a finished object. It is permanently connected software, and it deteriorates on its own if nobody looks after it. On WordPress, maintenance is not optional.
What a maintenance contract includes varies enormously between providers. Have three things specified: what is covered, how many hours of changes are included, and the response time if the website goes down.
